　　汉字文化千年，每个汉字在祖先的智慧下都有独特的含义，每个汉字的组成也都有深厚的渊源。湖北卫视推出的全国首档解字溯源文化节目《奇妙的汉字》，坚持以“大力弘扬中国汉字文化”为宗旨，集知识性和娱乐性于一体，用独特的视角追溯汉字的历史，探寻汉字背后的故事。节目通过选手解字结合专家解读，以雅俗共赏的方式传承和重拾汉字之美，并以此为契机，解读先哲的智慧思维，理解汉字成型的渊源，探索汉字背后的意义，展现造字精髓。

　　每期5名热爱汉字的“解字达人”与观众席50位“解字团”同场答题，三关角逐后最终选出当期“解字高手”入围高手榜，高手榜10位“解字高手”争夺当季“解字王”称号。场上场下同时答题将现场推向高点,文化领域中知名学者的风趣解读让选手和观众在“知其所以然”中感受这场文化分享的课堂。

　　节目播出后受到各方关注，荣获国家广播电视总局2019年年度“广播电视创新创优节目”奖，专题点评《奇妙的汉字》“普及基础知识，打造趣味课堂”。节目与抖音等APP线上线下融合，节目短视频单条抖音30个小时播放过亿，官方抖音号已近70万粉丝，获赞近340万。全国各地近百所学校也自发组织学生观看节目，反响热烈，掀起了一股汉字文化学习热潮。

　　Chinese character culture has a history of thousands of years. Each Chinese character has its own unique meaning under the wisdom of ancestors, and its composition also has a profound origin. Wonderful Chinese Characters, the first cultural program for interpreting and tracing Chinese characters launched by Hubei Satellite TV in China, adheres to the aim of “vigorously promoting Chinese character culture” and integrates knowledge and entertainment, to trace the history of Chinese characters from a unique perspective, and explore the stories behind Chinese characters. The program combines the interpretation of characters by contestants and comment by experts to inherit and rebuild the beauty of Chinese characters in the way of suiting both refined and popular tastes, and provides an opportunity to interpret the wisdom of the sages, understand the word-formation origin of Chinese characters, explore the meaning behind Chinese characters and show the essence of creating Chinese characters.

　　During each episode, 5 Chinese character lovers called “Character-interpretating Talents” and “character-interpretating group” consisting of 50 audiences will answer questions at the same time on the spot. After the three passes of competition, the current “Character-interpretating Master” will be finally selected into the list of masters, and 10 “character-interpretating masters” in the list of masters will compete for the title of “character-interpretating king” in the current season. Answering questions at the same time on and off the court pushes the scene to a high point, and famous scholars in the field of culture give an interesting interpretation, allowing players and audiences to experience the classroom of cultural sharing in “knowing why”.

　　After the broadcast, this program has received attention from all sides, and won the 2009 Annual Innovation and Excellence Program of Radio and Television award from the National Radio and Television Administration, receiving a special comment of “Popularizing Basic Knowledge and Creating Interesting Classroom” on Wonderful Chinese Characters. This program is integrated with Tik Tok and other APPs online and offline, creating over 100 million view counts of a single short video in 30 hours on Tik Tok, and its official account on Tik Tok has nearly 700,000 fans, and has received nearly 3.4 million likes. Nearly a hundred schools across the country also spontaneously organized students to watch the program, generating overwhelming response and setting off an upsurge of Chinese character culture learning.
