为了更好的服务国家一带一路倡议，让更多外国人学好汉语、了解中国，喜爱中国文化，由湖北广播电视台原创的全国唯一一档汉字类栏目《汉字解密》，通过全面展示汉字从“甲骨文、金文、小篆、隶书、楷书”的古今对比演变过程，传播中华优秀传统文化，古老的汉字以全新的电视形式在世界舞台呈现出蓬勃生机。
《汉字解密》是湖北广播电视台着力通过汉字讲述好中国故事、传播好中国声音，打造各国人民学习汉字的“移动课堂”。
《汉字解密》荣获国家广电总局电视节目“全国一等奖”，搭建了传统文化与普通受众之间的桥梁。《光明日报》文化版头条大篇幅给予表扬，认为节目“创造性传承与发展了优秀传统文化”、“给观众奉上了一场场高雅的文化盛宴”，在全国引起强烈反响。
汉字承载着博大精深的中华文明，展现出中华民族开放包容、兼收并蓄的国家风范，《汉字解密》深深打着“国家情怀”和“创新烙印”，目前已将节目陆续翻译成阿拉伯文、俄文、英文等多个语种，对汉字文化进行创新性、国际化传播，促进“一带一路”国家民心交融，增进国际友谊，为构建人类命运共同体贡献“湖北力量”。
In order to better serve the national Belt and Road Initiative and let more foreigners learn Chinese, understand China and love Chinese culture, the only national Chinese character program Decoding Chinese Characters, originally produced by Hubei Radio and Television Station, spreads the excellent traditional culture of China by comprehensively showing the evolution of Chinese characters from "oracle bone script, Jin Wen (inscriptions on ancient bronze objects), Xiao Zhuan (small seal script), Li Shu (official script) to Kai Shu (regular script)", and presents the ancient Chinese characters in a new TV format on the world stage.
Decoding Chinese Characters is a "mobile classroom" in which Hubei Radio and Television Station focuses on telling Chinese stories and spreading Chinese voices through Chinese characters, so that people of all countries can learn Chinese characters.
Decoding Chinese Characters won the “National First Prize” of the TV program granted by the National Radio and Television Administration, and built a bridge between traditional culture and ordinary audience. The headline of Guangming Daily's cultural edition praised the program, saying that the program "creatively inherited and developed excellent traditional culture" and "presented an elegant cultural feast to the audience", which evoked strong repercussions throughout the country.
Chinese characters bear the profound Chinese civilization, showing the open, inclusive and eclectic national style of the Chinese nation. Decoding Chinese Characters is deeply branded with "national sentiment" and "innovation". At present, the program has been translated into Arabic, Russian, English and other languages successfully to spread Chinese character culture innovatively and internationally, promote the "Belt and Road" countries' people-to-people exchanges, enhance international friendship, and contributing to the construction of Community of Shared Future for Mankind.
