“湖北传媒周”活动是湖北省对外开展国际交流与合作的重要品牌活动。该活动以广播电视、新闻出版、电影动漫、新媒体等为主要内容，通过开展展播展映、展览展示、推介会、发布会、互译合作、版权贸易、书法及非遗文化交流等各类活动，搭建互信、互通、互利的文化交流与合作平台，实现最大范围、最为有效的交流与合作。自2016 年在马来西亚首次成功举办以来，已相继在俄罗斯、埃及、南非、印度、法国、德国、日本、韩国等12个国家连续举办了6届，累计开展国际交流活动612项，达成国际交流合作72项。
“Hubei Media Week” is a significant hallmark event for Hubei Province to promote international exchanges and cooperation. The event spotlights radio and television, press and publication, film and animation, as well as new media. Through its varied activities such as showcases, exhibitions, promotional meetings, press conferences, inter-translation collaboration, copyright business, calligraphy, and intangible cultural heritage exchanges, the event serves as a cultural exchange and cooperation platform that fosters mutual trust, connectivity, and mutual benefit for the purpose of achieving the most effective communication and cooperation in the broadest scope.Since its successful debut in Malaysia back in 2016, the event has been held in 12 countries, such as Russia, Egypt, South Africa, India, France, Germany, Japan, and South Korea, for six sessions, leading to a total of 612 international exchange activities and 72 international cooperation and exchange agreements.
