《长江新闻号》是湖北广播电视台2012年推出的一档国际时事评论类栏目。节目以“坐拥长江，纵论天下”为栏目特色，以“世界观中国心”为核心理念，以“长江评论”为核心竞争力，打造思想引领的新闻品牌，打造360度的思想视觉盛宴，力求为国际时局提供理性、精准和前瞻性的观察和分析。栏目的口号是：坐拥长江，纵论天下。
Yangtze River News is an international current affairs commentary program launched by Hubei Media Group in 2012. Featured with “Sitting along the Yangtze River, Talking About the World”, and taking “World View and Chinese Heart” as the core concept and “Yangtze River Review” as the core competitiveness, this program is designed to create a news brand led by ideas and a 360-degree ideological and visual feast, striving to provide rational, accurate and forward-looking observation and analysis for the international current situation. The slogan of the program is: Sitting along the Yangtze River, Talking About the World.
“中国”系列策划是《长江新闻号》的特色。2012年，《长江新闻号》首次推出了特别策划《和平崛起 造福世界》，收视率冲上全中国卫视同时段第一，成就了中国主题报道的新高度。《长江新闻号》也因此成为最早开始宣传报道中国道路的省级媒体。此后，《长江新闻号》先后推出过《倾听中国力量》、《中国影响力》、《向世界贡献的中国智慧》等系列报道。 《长江新闻号》创新国际传播，用外眼看中国、用外交官的切身体验来看中国成就，从2018年3月至今，先后推出过“外交官谈命运共同体”、“外交官话一带一路”、“外交官眼中的改革开放”、“全球战疫.对话外交官”、“驻华大使看两会”等八季对话外交官专栏，先后采访了80多位大使和国际组织代表。
The planned series of “China” is the feature of Yangtze River News. In 2012, Yangtze River News launched a special plan entitled Peaceful Rise for the Benefit of the World for the first time, with audience ratings ranking first among all Chinese satellite TV stations in the same period of time, achieving a new height of China's theme coverage. As a result, Yangtze River News has become the first provincial media to publicize and report China's roads. Since then, Yangtze River News has published a series of reports such as Listening to China's Power, China's Influence and China's Wisdom Contributing to the World. Yangtze River News is innovative in its international communication, promoting people to look at China from the outside and China's achievements from the personal experience of diplomats. From March 2018 to now, eight seasons of special programs on dialogue with diplomats including “Diplomats' Talk About the Community of Destiny”, “Diplomats' Talk About the Belt and Road Initiative”, “Reform and Opening Up in the Eyes of Diplomats”, “Global Fight Against Epidemic · Dialogue with Diplomats”, and “Outlook of Ambassadors in China on Two Sessions” have been successively launched, and more than 80 ambassadors and representatives of international organizations have been interviewed.
《长江新闻号》还是湖北广播电视台新媒体的“排头兵”，节目在在今日头条粉丝超过千万，每天流量超五百万。根据中国广视索福瑞媒介研究数据，目前湖北台有90个新媒体短视频账号，总播放量16亿，《长江新闻号》头条号一个账号的播放量占到了近五分之一，在短视频竞争力中排第一。在头条排行榜-新榜上，连续蝉联媒体影响力排行榜-电视节目榜和头条号军事时事排行榜第一名。
Yangtze River News is also the “pacesetter” of new media for Hubei Media Group. The program has over 10 million followers on TouTiao and over 5 million daily traffic. According to the research data of CSM, there are 90 short video accounts of new media in HBTV, with total view counts of 1.6 billion, in which an account of Yangtze River News on TouTiao has accounted for nearly 1/5 of total view counts, ranking first in short video competitiveness. In the new ranking list of TouTiao, it has successively won the first place in the media influence list - TV program list and military current affairs list of TouTiao.
