　　This is thought-provoking fable about building a harmonious home by a cow, a mandarin and a big tree. Two animals living together in a big tree destroy the entire tree because of mutual suspicion and guard against each other. When they finally realize that only mutual trust and unity can protect their home, a seedling sprouts and they carefully nourish it until one day the new home grown into a towering tree again.

　　The pictures in the book contain a lot of Chinese elements, including 12 species of rare animals’ endemic to China and many famous Chinese landmarks as well as the images of “dragon moon” and “panda”. It tells the children a fable of building a harmonious home together and expounds the value of “harmony” in traditional Chinese culture in the language of picture books favored by the majority of children. It shows the good wish of pursuing the great harmony of the world and building a harmonious home together in Chinese culture.
