  《书法报》于1983年11月试刊,1984年1月正式创刊,是我国创刊最早、影响最广、发行量最大的书法专业报。曾荣获中国书法最高奖——兰亭奖(编辑出版奖),行销全国及海外20多个国家和地区,被誉为“中国书法第一报”。

  书法报社现有《书法报》《书法报·书画天地》《书法报·书画教育》《书法报·硬笔书法》。《书法报》系列报纸专注艺术高度、学术深度,兼顾大众性和普及性,加强策划和创意,强化服务与互动,不断提升品质。

  书法报社相继成立书法报社书道文化有限公司、书法报互联网有限公司、书法报视频媒体有限公司。注重新媒体的建设,积极探索数字化转型升级,在书法业界率先打造“一网五际”融媒体平台;创新经营理念,开发书法衍生品近200余种。

  近年来,书法报社曾三次承办国家级展览,每年精心策划书法展赛十余项,产生广泛而良好的社会影响,同时带来一定的经济效益。并形成以《书法报》纸媒为根基,以融媒体为新平台,集发行、广告、出版、展赛、培训、动画、视频及书法衍生品开发等多层级产业链,进一步巩固了《书法报》在业界的整体优势和领先地位。

  Calligraphic Art Weekly published its tentative issues in November 1983 and was officially launched in January 1984, being the earliest professional calligraphy newspaper in China with the widest influence and the largest circulation. It won Lanting Award (Editing and Publishing Award) - - the highest award in Chinese calligraphy. It is on sale across China and in more than 20 countries and regions overseas, and is known as the "first newspaper of Chinese calligraphy".

  Presently, there are Calligraphic Art Weekly, Calligraphic Art Weekly • Calligraphy and Painting World, Calligraphic Art Weekly • Calligraphy and Painting Education and Calligraphic Art Weekly • Hard-pen Calligraphy under the Calligraphic Art Weekly Office. The Calligraphic Art Weekly series of newspapers focus on artistic height and academic depth while taking into account the popularity and universality, strengthen planning and creativity, enhance service and interaction, and improve quality constantly.

  The Calligraphic Art Weekly Office has established Calligraphic Art Weekly Office Calligraphy Culture Co., Ltd., Calligraphic Newspaper Internet (Hubei) Co., Ltd., and Calligraphic Art Weekly Video Media Co., Ltd. successively. It pays attention to the construction of new media, actively explores digital transformation and upgrading, and takes the lead in creating a "One-Internet & Five-Media" integrated media platform in the calligraphy industry; it innovates its business philosophy and has developed nearly 200 kinds of calligraphy derivatives.

  Over the last few years, the Calligraphic Art Weekly Office has organized three national level exhibitions, and carefully planned over ten calligraphy exhibitions and competitions every year, having wide and good social effects while bringing certain economic benefits. Moreover, with the paper media of Calligraphic Art Weekly as the foundation, and the integrated media as the new platform, it has formed a multi-level industrial chain that integrates distribution, advertising, publishing, exhibitions and competitions, training, animation, videos, calligraphy derivatives, etc., and further consolidated the overall advantages and leading position of the Calligraphic Art Weekly in the industry.
