十堰日报社是十堰市委直属正县级事业单位，创立于1950年7月1日，十堰日报社是全省首批文化体制改革试点单位，2012年8月十堰日报传媒集团挂牌成立，集团旗下拥有“3报4网4端13微”1刊1栏”26个媒体和6家企业。集团从业人员300余人，年综合收入达1亿元。
十堰日报传媒集团按照“集团式运作、多元化经营、全媒体发展”的思路，全面推进报业战略转型，大力发展新兴媒体，加快推进报网融合，积极布局多元化产业。形成了以《十堰日报》和《十堰晚报》传统媒体为基础，以秦楚网、十堰政府网、微信、客户端、手机报等新媒体矩阵和以湖北小蜜蜂电商、湖北当当旅游、智谷文化、百事通文化传媒等多元化产业布局为两翼的现代传媒新格局。媒体受众由过去的25万人增加到现在的1500多万人。报社转型融合发展成效显现，被国家新闻出版广电总局评为全国第二批数字转型升级示范单位。
Shiyan Daily is a county-level public organization directly administered by the Shiyan Municipal Party Committee. Initiated on July 1, 1950, it is listed among the first pilot organizations in the structural reform of the cultural sector in the province. In August 2012, Shiyan Daily Media Group came into being as a conglomerate of 26 media, including 3 newspapers, 4 online media, 4 clients, 13 Weibo media, 1 journal, 1 column, and 6 companies. With staff count of 300+, the Group earns 100 million Yuan a year.
Upholding guidelines of "group-oriented management, diversified operation, and all-media development", Shiyan Daily Media Group makes all-round efforts to implement strategic transformation in the press while boosting new media. Speeding up integration of print media and online media, it's diversifying industrial structure. A neotype modern media pattern has now taken shape, with such traditional media as Shiyan Daily and Shiyan Evening News at the core, along with two wings: a new media matrix comprising Qinchu Network, Shiyan Government Network, WeChat, Client, Mobile News, etc., and multi-faceted industrial structure typified by Hubei Bee E-commerce, Hubei Dangdang Tourism, Zhigu Culture, Baishitong Cultural Media and so on. User population has risen from 250,000 to over 1.5 million. As progress is made in press transformation and integration, the Group has been rated one of the second exemplary organizations for digital transformation and upgrading nationwide by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television.
