湖北省演艺集团(以下简称集团)是省委省政府直属的大型国有文化企业，2011年11月由原省文化厅所属文艺事业单位转企改制组建，总资产4.97亿元，归口省委宣传部管理。由湖北省歌剧舞剧院有限责任公司、湖北省戏曲艺术剧院有限责任公司、湖北长江人民艺术剧院有限责任公司、湖北省演出有限责任公司、湖北剧院有限责任公司、湖北省江汉环球影城有限责任公司、湖北微观视界文化传媒有限公司等7家全资子公司组成。集团现有3院8团，4个传播经营单位。职工总数1358人，其中在职职工782人(含高级专业人员257人)。

　　集团集创作演出、策划营销、剧场影院经营、舞美工程、资本运作等多功能为一体，具有独立企业法人资格。集团的诞生，顺应了中国特色社会主义文化繁荣兴盛的时代大潮，是进一步推动湖北文化体制改革发展，实现湖北文化强省建设的重要举措，掀开了湖北文化建设的新篇章。

　　Hubei Performing and Arts Group (HPAG) is a large state-owned cultural enterprise directly under the provincial party committee and the provincial government. HPAG consists of 7 wholly-owned subsidiaries which are Hubei Opera and Dance Theatre Co., Ltd., Hubei Opera Art Theatre Co., Ltd., Hubei Changjiang People's Art Theatre Co., Ltd., Hubei Performance Co., Ltd., Hubei Theatre Co., Ltd., Hubei Jianghan Universal Theatre Co., Ltd. and Hubei Micro Vision Culture Media Co., Ltd. HPAG currently has 3 academies, 8 groups, and 4 communication units. The total number of employees is 1,358, including 782 employees (257 senior professionals).

　　HPAG integrates multiple functions such as creation and performance, planning and marketing, theater and theater operation, stage art engineering, and capital operation. It has the qualification of an independent enterprise legal person. The birth of the group conforms to the tide of the times when the socialist culture with Chinese characteristics is prosperous. It is an important measure to further promote the development of Hubei's cultural system reform, realize the construction of Hubei's culturally strong province, and open a new chapter in Hubei's cultural construction.
