　　This book is the record of memories of 24 people who were teenagers in 1949. They grew up into workers, farmers, teachers, doctors, painters, Quyi folk show performers, singers, and writers. In 1949, the youngest was only 8 years old and the oldest was 18 years old. They lived in 10 provinces in China. In their memories, they suffered from poverty, hardship, and sadness on one hand; on the other, they were tenacious, optimistic and enterprising in the face of adversity. They were as courageous and responsible as Chinese teenagers in general. Moreover, they had the typical pursuit and dream of Chinese teenagers in general. This book is also a folk history book, reflecting China in 1949 based on its people's memory and sentiment back then.
