　　This manuscript embodies the direct "communication" with Wuhan's historical buildings by an architect, who is also an expert in the preservation of historical buildings. Since 1995, the architect has been exploring on foot the entire city of Wuhan, where he sketched on the spot, drew real-life sceneries, and enaged in carving in a span of 20 years. As a result, he completed more than 240 paintings of Wuhan's classic buildings, eventually forming this manuscript, a work that can be treated as "Wuhan's Classic Architecture Museum on Paper". The manuscript can genuinely help readers understand Wuhan at present and in the past from the angle of its historical buildings.
