　　This book is a new work of Mao Dun Literature Prize winner. The work consists of two novellas: Flowers Blooming on the Flower Ridge and Hongxiafei. With the 100-year history of an antique cultural town as the main structural line, and with the legend of Wei Mengwei and the story of Wei Mengwei's successor interspersed, Flowers Blooming on the Flower Ridge creates a creative space in which virtual and reality complement each other, goes deep into the history to explore the relationship between revolution and literature, revolution and human nature, revolution and love, and focuses on describing Bi Qifa's different performances in Mao Ping Battle and Xihuashan War, which led to his rough life later. Hongxiafei is about a special team. They are the lights that illuminate the darkness, the fire that melts the ice and snow, and the gods that summing up the spirit. They are the special arms that have been accompanying the Chinese revolution since the Gutian Conference--the literature and art propaganda team. The novel portrays a group of characters such as He Liantian, Yang Junhua, Ma De and Zheng Zhenzhong. They were born underclass, grew up into ordinary people. They struggle in the war, suffer hunger and cold in the extreme harsh environment and purify their soul like white cloud in blue sky after a narrow escape.
