本丛书从超国家层面、国家层面、次国家层面三个视角展开论述，通过对联合国相关部门、国际组织，典型国家，国家内部教育治理结构等维度的研究，展示国际格局下有代表性的教育强国、大国及新兴国家在教育治理方面的经验教训，就典型国家的教育状况阐述教育治理的理论(包括与教育管理的区别)、模式、途径、内容、手段措施、目标等，力图总结出全球教育治理的共性、特性及规律，进而思考中国在参与全球教育治理中如何走出自己独特的道路，在国际上赢得更多的话语权，并建立自己的话语权体系。项目具有全局性、全球性、前瞻性、可借鉴性等特点。丛书共10册，具体如下：

This series is discussed from three perspectives: supranational level, national level and sub-national level. Through the study of relevant departments of the United Nations, international organizations, typical countries, and the structure of educational governance within countries, this series shows the experiences and lessons of representative educational powers, big countries and emerging countries in educational governance under the international pattern. Based on the educational situation of typical countries, the theory, mode, approach, content, means, measures and objectives of educational governance (including the differences from educational management) are expounded, and the commonness, characteristics and laws of global educational governance are attempted to be summarized. Furthermore, how China can take its own unique path in participating in global educational governance, win more discourse power internationally, and establish its own discourse system are reflected. The project is featured by wholeness, globality, foresight, referential nature and so on. The series consists of 10 volumes as follows:
