　　楚菜历史悠久，文化底蕴深厚，风味特色鲜明， 距今已有2800多年历史，最早的文化痕迹可以追朔至商朝，璀璨的楚文化让湖北成为中国中部最耀眼的明星省份， 而楚菜作为楚文化的代表作品之一，已然跻身中国十大菜系之列。

　　《楚菜名宴》系列专题片一共20集，每集约6分30秒。以“破解千年文化密码，品味楚菜独具匠心”为主题，邀湖北名厨为主角，以精美视角详解湖北各地楚菜宴席的制作技法，解读历史故事，提升楚菜品牌，弘扬楚菜文化。

　　Hubei Cuisine, with a long-stand history dating back to the Shang Dynasty over 2,800 years ago, stands out for distinct flavor and unique culture of Hubei, the most dazzling province in Central China. As the inheritance of the Chu Culture, Hubei cuisine has become one of the ten major cuisines in China.

　　The feature program consists of 20 episodes each of which lasts about 6 minutes and 30 seconds. To unlock secrets of the Chu Culture tracing back over 1,000 years and have a taste of Hubei's unique delicacies, well-known chefs are invited to explain how the delicacies in various places of Hubei are made in an impressive way. It combines cuisines with history, enhances the publicity of Hubei Cuisine and promotes food culture of Hubei.
