　　This program shares the same title of the best-selling ancient-style food fantasy comic The Legend of Taotie. The story revolves around Tian Xiang Restaurant and a Taotie (gluttonous mythical creature) incarnated as a girl, who cooks incomparable delicacies with rare animals as ingredients. From physical desire for food to the state's Machiavellian manipulation, from the different paths taken by humans and mythical creatures to conspiracy and war, mythical creatures become incarnate one by one, and various stories regarding the ways of the world, infatuation, and sadness play themselves out one by one, mirroring people's inner struggles, desires, fears, and hopes. Behind every delicacy there is a character-building story to unfold. What you get to taste is not only delicious food, but also the sweets and bitters of life.

　　The comic was jointly created by the famous author Yin Yu and the cartoonist Qian Qiu Ye along with her studio.
