三峡电子音像出版社经国家新闻出版总署批准，于2007年10月成立，是湖北省市州唯一的国家级出版社。出版社由宜昌市委宣传部主管、三峡日报社主办。
我社出版成果丰硕。《中国三峡石》、《宜昌记忆》、《中国观赏石之乡》分荣获中华优秀出版物奖、湖北出版政府奖等国家级、省级奖项;《宜昌记忆》、《湖北古镇》、《宜昌城史画》、《宜昌文化古镇》、《洋人旧事》、《荆楚艺苑》、《好记者讲好故事》、《罗帕记》等出版物分获“湖北省公益出版物专项资金”扶持;《湖北古镇》、《湖北旅游名村》、《湖北民间故事家讲述作品》、《楚菜》等数字出版项目，累计已获近千万“湖北省数字出版专项资金”支持;《湖北省著名国画家绘画艺术研究》、《中华雨花石家族》、《三峡美术史》等项目连年获得“湖北省学术著作出版专项资金”支持。
2018年9月底，我社与其他出版社联合，及时出版了《生态小公民》系列读本，受到社会各界的广泛好评。《人民日报》、《中国日报》等中央媒体竞相报道，业界专家高度赞誉，成为湖北出版界标杆出版作品之一。
面向未来，我社将推出更多主题鲜明、影响广泛的出版精品，为党和国家立心、为伟大时代立传，打造汉渝间具有较强影响力、辐射力的长江经济带文化出版传播中心。
Three Gorges Electronic Audio & Video Press (the "Press"), established in October, 2007 upon the approval by the National Press and Publication Administration, is the only state-level publishing house in Hubei. The Press is administrated by the Publicity Department of Yichang Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China ("CPC") and operated by the Three Gorges Daily Newspaper.
The Press has achieved fruitful results in publishing. Three-Gorges Stones in China, Memory of Yichang, and Hometown of Ornamental Stones in China received the China Excellent Publication Award, Hubei Provincial Government Award for Publishing and other state and provincial-level awards. Publications like the Memory of Yichang, Historic Towns in Hubei, History of Yichang, Ancient Cultural Towns in Yichang, Old Stories about the Foreigners, Art and Literature of Hubei, Good Stories by Good Reporters, and Legend of a Handkerchief were supported by the Special Fund of Hubei for Public Welfare-oriented Publications. Digital publications like Historic Towns in Hubei, Famous Tourist Villages in Hubei, Stories by Folk Storytellers in Hubei, and Hubei Cuisine have cumulatively received financial assistance worth nearly CNY 10 million from the Special Fund of Hubei for Digital Publications. Programs including the Study on Painting Arts of Renowned Chinese Painting Artists in Hubei, Family of Yuhua Stones in China, and History of Three-Gorges Fine Arts have been consecutively supported by the Special Fund of Hubei for Academic Publications.
At the end of September, 2018, the Press, together with other publishing houses, published the well-received Ecological Protection among Young Citizens series. It was reported by the People's Daily, China Daily and other central government-owned media, and thought highly of by experts as an exemplary publication in the publishing industry of Hubei.
In the future, the Press will produce more excellent publications with distinct themes and broad influence to build ideological values for the CPC and the Chinese nation and sing the praises of great achievements in the new era. The Press is making every effort to build an influential culture-oriented publishing and communication center radiating Wuhan and Chongqing along the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
